unable to communicate to server

For the last three days I've been unable to synch my Kindle Fire Irule app to my Irule Builder - keep getting the error message -
"unable to communicate to server"
Can anybody help me with this problem please?

Can you access the builder using the built in browser of the Kindle?

Thank Alex for your quick and helpful reply.
I couldn't access Irule Builder from Silk the Kindle Fire's built in browser.
But I've been scrabbling about trying one or two things and I have solved my problem. I have installed Google Play Store on my Kindle Fire (instructions needs to be googled)and I can now synch my Irule App with the Builder successfully.
Anybody else with the synch problem should try this solution. John.
