I've got a setup with a couple of WiFi-2-IR GC units; one for the media closet and one for the TV/Soundbar.
From time to time, seemingly randomly, one of the two will drop link and show up as Red in the connection status within the iRule app. I'll be using the app, no issues, then a few minutes later I'll try to change channels and it won't work (red on one GC gateway). Waiting 5 to 30 minutes usually "fixes" it, but there's got to be a better way.
Restarting the app/rebooting the tablet doesn't guarantee the link returns, nor does cycling power on the GC unit.
Anyone know why this happens?
Anyone know of a way to "force" the app and the gateway to re-negotiate their interface?
