Replaced Onkyo TX-NR616 with TX-NR646

I just replaced my NR616 receiver with a NR646. Configured network IP address on the NR646 the same as what was assigned to my original NR616. I-Rule is not talking to the new NR646 ? I have deleted gateways and created new gateways, but still not working. Any suggestions?

I can ping the new receiver's IP address and I can log into the receiver's Web GUI to change network configuration on the receiver; so I feel good that the receiver is on the network correctly. Just having issues with I-Rule getting commands to it.

On the new NR-646, in network settings, I am not seeing anything about a default port being 60128. Only place I see where I can enter a port number on the Onkyo is the Proxy Port - which I do not use a proxy.

In new AVRs, there is no way to specify a port, it is fixed at 60128. Can you send a screenshot of how you have the gateway setup in the app?

Turned out I had a bad Onkyo (brand new). Traded it in and purchased a Denon.

I'd done everything imaginable configuration- & equipment-wise: swap out units, cables, port mappings, MAC addr, unplug home automation gear (sometimes, rarely, conflicts), IP6, IP4, etc.
That one simple change and viola we're connected, Onkyo TX-N757
